Privacy, in plain words.

No forty-page legalese. This is exactly what we collect on myfinalorbit.com, why we collect it, where it goes, and how long it lives.

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our forms — contact details, or the website you want audited. Nothing else personal.
  • Ad tracking is switched off at the code level. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
  • Free-tool reports (and any email attached to them) auto-delete after 90 days.
  • Analytics is optional — decline it in the cookie banner or via “Cookie preferences” in the footer, any time.
  • Want to see or delete what we have? Email [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.

“We” is Final Orbit, a digital marketing studio in Powell, Ohio. This policy covers our website, myfinalorbit.com — not the separate systems we use with signed clients.

What we collect

Forms you fill out

The contact form asks for your name, email, and message, plus optional phone, company, and project type. It arrives in our inbox as an email — it isn’t stored in a database on the site.

The free tools (SEO audit, AI visibility checker, website speed test) only need the website address you want checked. If you choose to unlock a full report, we ask for your email (and optionally your name), which is attached to that report. We also send a copy of the report to the email you gave us.

Websites you ask us to scan

When you run a tool, the address you enter is fetched and analyzed by our checks, and for performance tests it’s passed to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service. That address is a URL, not personal data — but it’s your input, so it’s listed here.

Collected automatically

Your IP address is used to verify you’re human (Cloudflare Turnstile) and to enforce daily limits on the free tools, and it’s stored alongside audit reports. With your permission, Google Analytics records aggregate usage — pages visited, device type, referring site. Analytics never receives your name, email, phone, or message; the only form input it ever sees is the domain you audited.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and send the report you asked for.
  • If you unlock a report, we may follow up about your results — that’s the trade for the free tool. No spam lists.
  • To keep the free tools free — daily limits by IP and email stop abuse.
  • To learn which pages actually help people (analytics).

What we don’t do: sell your data, share it with advertisers, or run ad retargeting. The Google tag on this site has every ad signal (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) permanently denied.

Cookies

The full list — there is no hidden second page of trackers. Analytics cookies are only set while analytics is allowed; choosing “Essential only” removes them.

Where it goes

Seven services touch this site’s data. That’s the whole list:

Google Analytics 4
Aggregate usage stats, only with your permission. All ad features disabled in code.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Bot screening on our forms — checks your IP and browser signals to tell humans from scripts.
SMTP2GO
Delivers our email. Form submissions and your report copy travel through it.
Netlify
Hosts the site and stores tool reports (with any attached lead info) until they auto-expire.
Google PageSpeed Insights
Receives the URL you test — nothing about you.
Google Maps
The embedded map on our contact page.
Cal.com
Only if you click through to book a call — their form, their privacy policy.

How long we keep it

  • Tool reports — including any unlock email, name, and the scanning IP — delete automatically after 90 days.
  • Rate-limit counters (IP / email) expire after about a day.
  • Speed-test runs aren’t stored at all.
  • Contact messages arrive as email and are kept like ordinary business correspondence — ask and we’ll delete the thread.

Your choices

  • Decline analytics — in the banner on your first visit, or via “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Declining also clears Google Analytics’ cookies from your browser.
  • See, correct, or delete your data — email [email protected]. No forms, no hoops; we’ll confirm when it’s done.
  • Skip the forms entirely — you can always just call (614) 400-2555.

The fine print

Children. This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes. When this policy changes, we update it here and revise the date at the top. Material changes get called out, not buried.
